How bout a road car that isn’t 6s ? Will it ever happen? 6s rigs take up too much room in my single cab truck to pack around all the time lol.

And check out @Rich Duperbash 's yt channel for spool recommendations if you wanna break 100mphYep this get yourself a 3s Typhon and throw some Hoons or GRP's on it and your set
Get a truck bed cover, a nice Truxedo from Amazon is like $300 https://www.amazon.com/s?k=truxedo+truxport+roll-up+tonneau+cover+ford+f150&ref=nb_sb_noss_2, and one of those plastic totes that will fit under the cover and fit the car inside, that is how I do it, only batteries, radios and tools ride inside the truck.Dang lots of great responses here!! I was really just hoping I’d find someone to commiserate with lol. Thanks to those that suggested rigs but I have a few in each category already. It was more of a musing post about Arrma making a mini infraction or felony. I think it would be a fun car to run on my lunch break at work. I’ve got a castle’d 4tec with me today. I do really like road cars though, honestly I think they’re my favorite which is a very unpopular opinion. It’s has a lot to do with the scale looks and bodies I think.
I was serious about the space in my truck tho lol.

I’ve got mine in the mid 80s now and it’s a blast. I’d get the longer chassis if there were more bodies than just the vette. I’ve thought about getting a longer chassis and chopping the fenders off the hot rod coupe body and doing like a period bonneville car.A regular Typhon 6s is a great option and far more capable at the end of the day than a 3s model with modifications.
There are more 1/8 scale speed bodies than any other size other than possibly the 1/10 4tec size cars.
Problem is the 4tec is a wild beast that is hard to tame above 80mph. The 3.0 might be slightly better with its longer wheelbase
If you want to go faster you will need a more solid body from Delta Plastics that does not deform in the air pressure.I’ve got mine in the mid 80s now and it’s a blast.
