So far I’ve ran two packs 2x 3s 5000mah) thru it with the small gear
So 2 runs
It’s cool ! Definitely gonna go thru tires pretty quick !
back end breaks loose when ya get into it but that is to be expected I think !! Lol
Let my 10 yr old run it on 50% and he did pretty well !
turned it up to 75 so he could “drift”
So far so good !
No crashes yet
Charging batteries again !!!!!

It’s a handful!!!
I’ve done zero research on the Felony as far as diff fluids shocks , upgrades or just general knowledge/ maintenance at all
So any input would be great !!!!

And yes the faux turbos & supercharger were installed by the advice of my youngens

It’s controllable..... at least I think !
from a dead stop I can hammer it and she will take of straight,,the back end fish tails a little bit then it gathers itself back and shoots straight!
I don’t let off the throttle
However
After rolling or from a rolling start it behaves differently!!!
It has done some 360s with out me wanting it to
I’m knew ish at the RC hot rods but I’ve ALWAYS had a hot rod in garage or two

I guess my point is I can drive or at least think I can !
I’m gonna run the wheels off of it before I try to do any tuning !
However the manual says that the punch setting is at level 4 of 9 levels !!!!
Well that can’t be rite !!!!!
Has anyone turned the punch setting up and if so what were your thoughts or experience with a higher level of “punch”
And hopefully I’m understanding “punch”
But that’s the amount of power being initially put to motor via esc regardless of my finger going 100% on throttle?????
So if I hammer it from dead stop it puts level 4 power initially (to hook up) and then the esc gives it level 9 power ???

Upgrades: Nothing really. This is almost as good as it gets out of the box. The servo maybe. I'm still on stock servo in my Infraction.
Make sure your droop screws are dialed in, a little off and it gets out of control fast.
Diff fluids, stock is ok but some go thicker in the rear 30k/50k/200k (f/r/m) is a good choice for the infraction. Felony might be a little different.

I hear you...and I don't want to salt your experience you can learn how to control it and throttle control as well. I like the RC as well and it's a dream to look at...some of us want to learn to dial it in better. In addition, I am coming from the Infraction first which is the KING of what it was built for if you like power drift bashing with good balance and control (me) or speed runs (I don't do)

Don't forget that traction and handling will also vary with seasonal temperature, humidity etc. So adjustments may be necessary to accommodate these variations.
