Went up from a 27 to a 34. Hoping for a decent speed run.

She’s ready I think….

Nice neat job there. Chassis layout, wiring, and all. (y) Enjoy.

A bit of advice, but a lot more gears and step up much more slowly. I made the same mistakes being in a hurry to go fast and am now stuck going slower than others due to my haste. Take your time. Get good at making passes with the smaller gear before considering moving up. Lay down at least 10 passes with that 27T. Then move up a tooth or two tops. Not 7T.

I agree with @jondilly1974 and as a speed runner myself that's way to big of a gearing jump. If anything go up a couple teeth to 29t and make a good 4-5 separate passes not on the same outing or if so make sure to top packs off before each pass. Make sure you are topped out on the gearing before moving up meaning you got 2-3 passes with the same top speed and are not getting any gain then go up a couple teeth and do the same thing.
