What am I doing wrong with my lipos?

Yeah, I missed where he said 6S. I was talking about their 3S 6200mah packs. I use pairs of those in my 3 trucks. Still, $40 for a decent 3S of that capacity isn't bad.
Have you or @Jimbobjr ever used these?

I am curious as to the fitment in the battery tray. I currently use 2 3s hardcase 5200mah Hobbystar batteries that just barely fit in an unmodified battery tray. Once I modify the tray with lock nuts, I have to remove the front sliding brace and replace it with a velcro strap. I'm curious is this battery is small enough to allow for the lock nuts and still be able to fit them in under that front brace.

Nope. I've only used their soft 3S packs so far.

Sorry I didn’t see this earlier
Yes, I use those and the vant 4800mah 6s which uses the same hardcase and may be the same battery. They fit perfect, like the tray was designed with them in mind. The lock nuts (tee nuts) and pad may add 1/8” or so and there still is plenty of room under the siding piece.

Question, if you just barley touch the throttle, does a surge sound come from the ESC?
