I haven’t kept up on things the last few years. SUV preferred.

Nothing is as reliable as an ICE SUV. (...at the moment.)
I'd wait a little longer BEFORE seriously investing in an Pure EV.

Might consider a Hybrid if you must get an electric something.. Maybe.

We love our ford Mustang Mach E GT performance edition. The range is definitely a little worse than I anticipated but we also don't commute very much tbh, never have to drive more than an hour from home. We went from a 2016 camry to a 2023 mach e and zero regrets. We don't even have a level 2 charger and still love it. Probably takes us literally over 24 hours to charge our car from 50 - 100 with level 1 charging and it's still enough for us. The only con is how much the value drops after you buy it but we did get 0% apr for 72 months and car note only 580$ a month. Insurance will go up a little bit as well but it's not THAT bad. Driving it is fun af, even the wifey be smashing the throttle at every red light she is first in line at just to leave everyone in the dust. She has even raced a few teslas to the next light and it's hilarious. Nothing else we've seen even stands a chance at the light except the tesla.

The performance of EV's make the average ice car look like poop tbh.

I'd only maybey be interested in a 1/1 electric vehicle if Toyota made the Corolla fully electric.going by how dependable they are and cheap to fix on their gas vehicles .working in body shop/ mechanic shops for over 20 years i saw nothing more reliable/ dependable and economical than a Corolla..but all that might change if and when they make one all electric .with so many issues arising from electric that i wouldn't be surprised if even a electric Corolla also would have its own issues.maybey in 20 years where it's perfected 🤷

After watching Hertz dump thousands of Teslas into the used market, I figure used EV's will hold their value like an I phone 7. I feel there's a tidal wave of epic depreciation right around the corner for the EV market.

It's already happening. Cyber truck and hummer ev value is circling the drain.

People are returning these junks faster than they bought em 🤣

I have a coworker that has a cyber truck and he goes to work a hour early everyday just to get a spot under a tree so he can start it up when he leaves work.many times I've seen him stuck when he doesn't get that spot and parks in the open sun. I've offered to give a ride in my gas SUV 🤣

Donut media was very impressed with the Hyundai n SUV. 68k

I know I can build something faster and more reliable than most EV's on the market, so I wouldn't even consider one, but I'm a mechanic.
I wouldn't buy an EV. I was looking at their entry level compact SUV possibly for my daughter. The Venue. Little as $240 a month

Or the Kona. It's pretty cool looking. Similar price.

I wouldn't put my kids in any electric vehicle. Here is just one reason I wouldn't
A coworker was using his Tesla ,stopped at a red light before the light turned green his Tesla died..it was over 90 degrees.all doors plus windows would not open ,.he was stuck in that car over a half an hour .fire department had to smash his passenger side window to free him out...there is a emergency handle built in the door panel that's hidden .that also was impaired.bottom line would you want you or your loved ones stuck in that situation??? I think not..and let's just say even worse if there was a fire .even just a few minutes being trapped is a life or death situation.

Exactly. Imagine an RC car fire 10 times in size.

some of yall are hilarious. :ROFLMAO:

Not sure how funny that is..
When it happens...

Unexpectedly WITHOUT any prior warning(s)...

Please Don't discount or ignore situations that has happened to others,
just because You haven't experienced it directly yourself.
