Senton What consequences to expect from putting Granite tires on a Senton?

Hi guys, beginner here, I bought Granite tires for one of my Sentons because I think it looks awesome. Is it going to cause extra wear on things? What parts should I have handy if so? Do I need to change the clip things on the shocks? Thanks.

Ok, the motor burnt out in a few days using 2s batteries haha, but it was awesome until then. Gonna drive the stock one on nimh until the replacement arrives.

Yep, put in the arrma 14 tooth pinion and a cheapie motor heatsink.

That does look pretty cool! Are the stock spur gears different between the two models (obviously they come with different pinions)?

Obviously you figured out that taller tires, will make your gearing taller also. Which makes your motor hot. Gear down at least 2 teeth to stop burning brushed motors up, and eventually you will want to get yourself a 3300-3800kv brushless motor and esc, good looking truck. I always thought short course trucks were more fun on monster truck tires for bashing.
