maybe you said this and I missed it.....did you remove the shock tower? if not, do, you can get a good grip on the bolt then.

I removed the shock tower as it was bent and replaced w m2c. Broken screw did come
out.

Short story long one of my friends talked me into going to the local indoor off road carpet track, so I turned my LC Racing MT into a buggy as that was the only thing I had that had tires I could run on their track. I was running some laps before the racing started and I broke my rear carbon fiber shock tower at some point during my run. So now I need to buy a new rear shock tower.

The "what did you buy" thread is great, but after my last run, I felt a spot to tell what you broke might be fun. This list comes after only the second full run with the new Notorious. After things got too ugly, I brought it in and removed the broken wing mounts, shaved them, and reattached the wheelie bar in a stubby style, so the body takes a little less abuse. The body is cracked in a couple of places, but some drywall tape and Goop should help keep it around for a while. Along with that, rear body mounts, wing and a slight bend in the rear shock tower.

I took the senton to the skate park today with the intention of breaking something (payday and LHS visit day tomorrow) nope, launched it everywhere I could, had some cringe inducing chassis slaps but nothing broke. I’ll buy spare parts tomorrow regardless ?

Well I burned up a motor on a speed run today ????

Went for a quick pass between rain clouds and ended up matching my PB of 115mph and smoked the Arrma 2400kv motor in the process. Obviously it was too much current for the stock wires. Melted them at the connectors and the can. I ended up having to cut off the blue wire as the connectors fused.

Did a couple dozen 10+ meter height launches yesterday with my Kraton, landed most of them clean on all fours in tall grass, nothing broke, I was so proud of myself. ???

This morning I take off the wheels to get some grass off the hubs and notice my rear diff is locked. Oops.

Spare diff already installed.

View attachment 65529 So this morning i woke up weather is nice batteries were all charged so i thought lets go bash why the hell not right??? well this is5 minutes later, i clipped a pull sticking out of the ground at full tilt and wham, out of nowhere its flipping through the air and this is the end result... another order for Jenny's rc saves the day.

Decided to do one last big jump at the skatepark, All good I was changing out the stock shocks anyways.

Most of the time the A-arm breaks, but Mojave vs tree actually bent the pin instead. It tore partway through the arm on impact.

Well... today during a backyard ramp sesh, I broke a rear arm and bent the hinge pin on the K6s.
No big deal usually, but upon closer inspection, found that I also sheared off part of the rear drive cup. ?

First time I’ve done that... ?
Funny tho how it broke on the reverse side of the cup. ?‍

I did manage to sneak in a couple triples and a quadruple!! Before it broke. ?

Well I tried doing some ramp jumps today didn't go so well? ended up breaking my rpm wing mount just the left side snapped in half also bent 2 screws and ripped apart the rear gear box case. She landed super hard and where I was standing I couldn't see the landing after I launched it. my bad maybe could of saved it if I would of seen she was vertical when she came down. I Smashed so hard both rear tie rods popped out and also both dog bones if that's what they are called I totally thought I destroyed her but was able to remove and reinstall everything she still goes so I'm happy with that I've since tried to super glue the rpm wing until I decided on replacement

Just depends on where the cup/bone is in relation to each other when the arm is bent/broken beyond where it should be. I snapped the entire half off the side of a cup in my outcast when I landed bad enough to bend a rear hinge pin and rip it out of the retainer.

With all the broken arms, bent pins and lost dog bones, funny I’ve never broken a drive cup... Just lucky I guess! ?

I broke 4 rod ends today between the Outcast and the Vorza, the Outcast didn't fair as well but I was showing off or trying to anyway. I almost landed a triple, almost I can say this is a first for me.

I was snapping rod ends left and right on my outcast. I moved the rear shocks to the upper hole on the shock tower. So it’s more vertical. Haven’t broke one yet

Yup. I think I have a slightly bent spare.

Idk what the deal was yesterday but the rod ends on the Outcast were the ones that came with my Tekno shocks when I bought them back in 2017 and only God knows how old the ones on the Vorza were.

Busted the front bulkhead in my outcast yesterday, lost a fin on the fan in the max6 as well. Considering it took 2 very bad lawn dart landings from 10+ feet up... surprised I didn't find more things broken on it.

I was going too, but the 30mm aluminum caged fan I had pushes more air than the 35mm I had, so I figured a way to install the 30mm. If I were to install the 35mm I had, I was going to try that as well as putting something under the motor so the center of the fan was supported by the heat sink.
