Ah yes, the infamous 6S wing mount breakage. Nothing beyond that, but trenchers having virtually no traction on sled-packed snow may have helped things stay calm.
I don't think any high powered RC tires have decent traction in snow. I noted the same thing with my trenchers. Switched to Badlands and results were worse. Namely because the wider MT Trenchers got just a bit more traction than the SCT Badlands. Not that much more though. Issue is, acceleration and speed need to be kept down much like in real life.
And in other news, I fixed my belted Trencher! I think...fingers crossed.
Quick question. Is there any advantage to laying a bead of tire glue around the outer rim where the tire contacts on already glued tires? Oh would it make it worse?

I use Proline slingshot in the rear, works perfect :)

And of course, the RPM arms were among the items I couldn't get yesterday. At least I got the RMP bumper

So what happened? Hit my homemade ramp full speed. This truck can go high and far although its landings leave alot to be desired lol

Ended a really good day of launching the Notorious/Outcast with what ended up being a broken sun gear in the rear dif. Funny thing is, I have 3 centers, 4 standard 6s and 3 EXB. All repaired, complete difs, but I'm out of spare gears. Gonna have to crack the two Jennys ones (seen in the center of this pic) so I have spare gears. I've never thrown a Jennys dif straight into one of my trucks.

Nothing, but my kids managed to break a rear arm on the granite and body mount on the Senton haha. Had rpm arms at the ready and fixed in no time, but no body post. Hoping the LHS has some because we’ve got a big day of sending planned for tomorrow.

Ok.. so I thought I broke a rear arm. Turns out it was the rear hub

Also noticed "shaving" on the tops of the front hubs from the MT tires(?). Funny theres no markings on the rim.

If that wasn't bad enough, I smell something that gives me nightmares when smelled around my rl 4x4.. differential oil. This stuff's so

Sure enough, theres a mess on chassis around the centre gearbox so dark Im almost afraid to open it up.

All this really only means my teardown and rebuild is going to happen sooner than I thought. I was waiting to get the rest of my parts before doing this. Now I have the equivalence of "throwing your hat over the fence".
So much for a waterproof receiver box.........

My dog bone! Damn, ain't gonna find that tonight. In my head, I was thinking the 3s and assumed I had all parts
Remember that dog bone? Here is a lesson, learn from my what dfuq moments. Was going to go back and get it but was already dark last night when I got home. So said I would grab it in the morning on way to work......

Guess who is seeking new dog bones now?

I replaced my dogbones with CVDs in the rear. Ain’t nobody got time for that.
CVDs vs dog bones, thoughts? And why only rear? If I went that route I'd do all 4. Kinda like the simplicity of dog bones.
