Looks like you can still get them on amazon:

I recently bought a pair of Knipex, they are really nice compared to the cheap garbage ones I had before:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005EXOE5U

Also got a cheap pair of small dykes, which caused me to throw away 2 of my old ones because they were awful in comparison:

Took the notorious out today. Blew a planetary gear in the rear diff. Went home, rebuilt diff and went back out. Blew front diff planetary gear. Fmd.
Only got about 20 packs through the car, last 6 packs have been with added shim behind planetary gear. Coincidence? It did feel a tad too notchy when i had assembled them. Thinking now I'm just going to leave the diff internals as per factory. And just shim the outer bearing for the pinion/crown gear.

Took out the Xmaxx , Talion,Typhon, and my new Proline Pro MT ( 2nd running) . Lost the RR hub bearing in the Xmaxx ( I've had it for 2 years now , 1st breakage of the truck !!!!! ) , jumping the Talion , doing a front flip landed on the wing/rr upside down and broke the wing mount/shock stud/and RR arm !!!!! Proline , 5 min in , jumping, did a barrel roll , and broke the front diff housing ( shock tower mount ripped off ).
Typhon ,............. NOTHING , starting to like this one the most , LOL !!! Although , I was only on 4s which I normally do not do , but the 8000 MAH 4s that was in the Proline had only run for 5 min, so I figured put it in the Typhon and run it around .
BTW, this was at a BMX track with lots of jumping . I actually ran the Typhon to LVC !!! I knew the Xmaxx soon was gonna lose a bearing as the metal dust shields have came off a long time ago ( they were dangling on the driveshafts ) , and crap would be getting in them .

?

Does anyone know if the Thypon, Senton and kraton Tyres fit on the Talion ?

Yes they all "fit" but the senton and typhon tires are rather small and it will completely change how the car drives, I would do Kraton tires out of the 3 fo sho.

The performance of Gorilla glue never seizes to amaze me.

Glued this (totally shredded as per pic in previous post) tire back together and inserted a small piece of high density foam into the tire to make up for a missing piece. Glued it together with gorilla glue, clamped and left over night.

Today I ran two 3s packs and one 6s pack on this tire and it is still holing together !!(y) This really helps while waiting for my new kraton 4s tires to arrive....

Minokawas didn’t like a 20ft launch to the moon at the skate park today ....

So I fitted the Road Rage 3.8s instead ...

Then this happened at the end of my second pack of moon launches ...

And the T-bone bumper is still intact, but the remaining 3D printed part did not survive. Lost the hinge pin brace too ??‍♂️

Second rear arm on the Typhon in as many weeks. Opposite side at the front of the arm over the hinge pin. This time I had only run on the road and at the smaller track. Lucky I bought two full sets from Jennys, so I still have one rear pair remaining.

So I took my the shredded tire I glued back up ( see post above) to the jumping park to see it it would hold up. See pics attached - nothing really too high / insane.

That tire was fine (flip Gorilla glue is awesome), but managed to crack an A-Arm and shatter my " indestructible - super tough - carbon fiber tape reinforced - 50 cents - wooden dowel - tower to tower brace" .

Glued that crack in the arm with superglue, clamped it and then tied 3 layers of carbon fiber tape around the end. You can't even see the crack in the arm anymore. Think it is stronger now than it is brand new:giggle:

Went out for a little bashing with my Kraton today and I was feeling a bit proud realizing how much I improved my driving skills since I first got it.

But as these things go, I hit some immovable objects twice with the front left tire soon after. First time the lower pivot ball popped out, but everything seemed pretty fine after I pushed it back in. Second time part of the steering block had broken off and the ball barely stayed in, so I had to head home :(

Now it seems the damage is larger than I thought because the ackermann plate is severely bent, the steering link cups are loose, a hinge pin is slightly bent and a pivot ball isn't smooth anymore because it scraped the asphalt for a few seconds. Overconfidence can be quite costly...

M2C makes an ackerman plate now. :)

I got the scorpion titanium one for my outcast, ordered it a month or so ago, took a while to get here. M2C didn't have theirs out yet.
