M2C makes an ackerman plate now. :)

I got the scorpion titanium one for my outcast, ordered it a month or so ago, took a while to get here. M2C didn't have theirs out yet.
Thanks for the suggestion. Sadly I'm in Europe and shipping would be quite costly. I'm considering getting one of the Alza options:

https://shop.alza-racing.com/en/typhon/85-steering-rack.html
https://shop.alza-racing.com/en/limitless/149-carbon-steering-rack.html
https://shop.alza-racing.com/en/typhon/118-titanium-steering-rack.html

Though I might just get the whole steering set from Jenny's RC which includes a few other parts I might need in the future.

I got the name wrong, it's "scorched parts":

Took a while to get here to the US.

It's probably in a box someplace, I've done this before with soo many parts. Worst case scenario you accidentally threw them away :(

I thought I lost my set of HR pivot balls but found them when looking for another part.

Dude I do this all the time. I showed you picture of all my boxes of parts once before I am sure. I remember posting it someplace on here.

Thats how it is when you try to find something else you find the item you were searching before. But for real i have no clue where it is im pretty sure i lost it or trew it away

Today I learned what happens when you run your typhon3s without that little piece of plastic covering the motor output and a rock gets stuck on the bare exposed metal.

Been there, done that. Might as well get the 4S assembled slipper from JRC

Ah, just read about that manufacturer yesterday from your post in another thread: https://www.arrmaforum.com/threads/m2c-or-just-bash-it.15727/page-2#post-203695 ?

Since it's made of strong 7075 aluminium and it's only € 14 + € 3 shipping (when you choose to have it sent by normal letter) it seemed like a great option so I ordered it. Sadly, today I got an email from Denis telling me he's only accepting orders in Germany right now, he'll be ready for international orders in the beginning of next year ?

So now I'm hesitating to either get the ALZA carbon fiber steering rack for € 20 including shipping, or the Scorched titanium steering rack + stub axle plates for € 26 including shipping. The ALZA titanium option doesn't include the stub axle plates so at € 25 it's less interesting than the Scorched parts (even though I wonder who ever bent those small stub axle plates?)

 Odd, i just received a chassis from him and i live in France. But i know the shipping from germnay isn't the most cheap for small parts. FOr a bunch of parts theshipping cost will be same, almost always something arround 14€ for me.

I didn't bend my stock little wings on the carriers, but when I installed the Scorched ackerman plate, I also installed those since they came with it. I haven't run with the ackerman plate yet, but in my hands, it's far more rigid than the stock one. I can fold the stock ackerman bar with minimal effort. I can flex the scorched one in my hands, but it takes a lot more grunt and I stopped before I got stupid and broke/bent it too. Might require pliers to bend it though.
