My wallet...who knew Hot Racing was so expensive? 🤷‍♂️ Also about to find out JUST how much the GF loves me.
First is A&J Hobbies, nice enough knowledgeable owner. But he loses brownie points for having a TBR bumper listed in stock when it wasnt. My heart died a little.....

All for the Senton 6s.(nobody say anything about the Scorched bill)

Technically not a break but definitely another bendy award🤣 ackerman plate from the TyphCast looks like a rainbow after some nose landings from 30+ ft launches. Straighten her back out and be good as new, think a new M2C ackerman might be a must

☝️If you go mia for awhile we now what happened!

Again.. Third time, and this was brand new. Wing, wingmount and wheelie bar.

Are you running it in the cold? Landing on the back/wingmount? Breaking that much I’d look at 3D printing your own mounts and wings so you can replace them cheaper and make them more flexible.

Maybe try an RPM front bumper and skid on the rear like this:

What bumper is that inner bumper?
Thought I had a TBR bumper this past weekend only to be told it was a computer mistake, so now I gotta live with my RPM. Im wary for the 6s as the 3s broke more bumpers, bumper arms, and bumper springs in 2 months than I thought was possible.

That is the stock Outcast/Notorious 6S bumper. The RPM bumper/skid plate bolts on right over top.

Nice, this might sound funny but im going to mount a HR skid plate on top of the RPM. Slightly longer bolts and some careful tracing and carving and it will fit. Judging by what I've done to the chassis after less than 10 runs, plastic wont do much better at the spur dents. The downside is I will lose anywhere from 1/8th to 3/16ths of clearance.

I have been really happy with the RPM bumper/skid. It's flexible so it doesn't scratch deeply like the aluminum, and it's $20 so I'll just replace it. I was running in construction areas and gravel pits with some nasty 1/2" stone. I didn't put the RPM one on until after I had torn up the stock bumper, so I have a brand new stock bumper and a new RPM front bumper on there to protect it, and swapped the other RPM front around to the back. I stacked it on top of the RPM rear skid in the back and used longer screws. I’ll just need to dremel the edge of the front skid to not have a sharp edge, but it’s plastic so bashing it will get it worn in soon enough anyway.

You're an f'n animal! I'm sooo happy that someone has finally taken the torch from me for "doing the most damage". Figures it had to be another Canadian. 🇨🇦💪🇨🇦

Power wet sanded to remove all gouges, nicks, and blemishes. Hope the wrap im gonna try comes in today. Last two days I spent more time working on my RC than doing what I'm supposed to be doing lol

Who knew RC parts took as long as automotive parts to clean?

The HR skid plates do not fit on the RPM bumper without trimming the ridges on the bumper.
I know. Already sized it up. Its really only a temp solution until I find titanium skids.
Heading back home and some Ice throws my senton to a fire hydrant. RIP

Should have seen my last two RL trucks, lol

The HR skids are actually ok, I use them on my t-bone bumpers and the screws no longer pull out, basically using it as a fancy washer :ROFLMAO:
Thats EXACTLY how I looked at it when I decided to do this. Basically, those 4 bolts are weak there. The whole bumper design(stock and RPM) wasnt given the greatest thought. But at least stock and TBR have additional support. In fact, the additional support was all that kept the bumper on mine:

Plus, I ONLY want the titanium for the sparks
