Watch the fan. Unfortunately it eats them just like the Max6. This was after the first bash:

I noticed on the max6 that the center of the fan is raised off the heat sink about 1/8". I put a rubber spacer in there so there's support for the center of the fan. Will see how that does. I did notice that it sounds like a relatively low RPM fan though.
