Picked up a 56 series motor plate and exb front bumper for my not yet delivered K8S v1. I might be satisfied by the stock Firma 4685, not sure. But, I have this brand new Firma 5687 just sitting here so..why not?! More has gotta be better, right?

Closer than I like, LOL! Was thinking the same.. 10% off would put me right there with an exb from King Cobra..oh well. Tax free is a big deal when dropping $1k.
But, I will repurpose the v1 electronics too. It's almost a wash at this point. At least I don't have the black body..not really a fan.
If we consider what I paid for v2 Firma combo and a Power HD 65kg servo, forget about it!!

No offense, but I know you’re budget minded. I’d sell the V2 electronics, cancel the V1 Kraton order and just wait for a 10% off deal at King Cobra. The beefier shocks on the EXB alone make it a better deal.

Hoping so. Also, I would need 20% off on a v2 to be at the same budget. I think the v1 will do me well. All my rc's are basically stock. What I've learned after seeing how well my brother's K6 blx rtr has held up is that I don't necessarily need the EXB. If the price is right, of course I'll jump on it. Otherwise, NBD whether it's rtr or exb for me.
