Replaced a shock shaft I busted on my stampede last weekend. I still need to rethink my ERBEv2 battery bay door supports...

Got my shock oil, rebuild kits, and eBay "Big Bore" shocks. I'll fill the Big Bore shocks tonight, and pull the stock shocks from my Senton so I can clean up the mess all the leaked shock oil made.

Thank God for the little "Dromida" car I bought for my grandson. Between my hip and the The Virus lockdown, I was kind of out-of-action for a while. Then the weather warmed up, and we went outside to run his little car. Then he wanted to run the Senton, and now I'm getting cranked up again. Oh well, have all winter to do my Limitless build!

Put last of my Fast Eddy's bearings in, steering housing bearings and then front input bearings. Installed new ring gear on front diff and added an extra shim on gear side hopefully this time it will hold up, third time's a charm maybe? Installed heatsink and dual fans on motor, think that's it...

Timing chain tensioners. One blew and the chain jumped on the driver side bank while I was starting the car. Somehow didn’t bend any valves.

Alright well I’m not sure if it bent any valves but I did a compression test and it came out good and I also did some diagnostic donuts and it was just as good as before it happened so I’m gonna make the executive decision and day she’s mint.

Smoked a small 6lb brisket this morning. Only made about a pound of burnt ends. Still searching for a butcher that sells just the point instead of the whole brisket. Ended up a little stiff but wasn’t dry. Pulled it at 160F and wrapped it in foil. Pulled it again at 205F. Rested for 2hrs before cutting off the point, chopped it, sauced it, and smoked the burnt ends for another hour along with the beans.

I'm guessing you glued it down on top, and used the staples on the bottom just to tension and secure it?

This came in the mail today so got it installed in the Kraton 6s already. Only minor test driving to make sure everything is set and working so far. Do some actual testing later and see how range is as well.

Getting my new center dif ready for the street stretched Typhon. Infraction 46t spur plus 25t pinion. New HR aluminum cup and 500k fluid. When this is done, gonna sort through all these shims and gears Horizon sent me and get working on that EXB rear dif. What was the order of all these shims again?

Get yourself over to my EXB build thread, junk those star plates and build the rear diff like my rear..???
