Got it modified to fit. I like that this one has a heat sink that covers the whole motor, and a big fan.

Added a yoga mat to my bench, then went to work replacing the rear shock tower. Hammered out the old one for next time. T2T works really well, but realigning the towers is going to be a constant. Also made my tire's vent holes a little cleaner. Pinched the tire between my fingers and used a pointed soldering tip to smooth out the holes. Using heat is dangerous, as you don't want to touch the foams, but if you pinch tight, all good.

I almost took a break tonight but decided to put the BRCC to the side and take the Typhon down to get truggy with it. The grubs in the center axles that hold the hub pins are ridiculous but I was able to loosen em enough (MIP shoutout baby!). I'll torch em tomorrow to get em off and cleaned up.
I have extensions, shims and mx28 ready so should be running the Typhon and BRCC all updated by Tuesday night if weather holds out.
Motivated lately and ready for Spring bashing.

I'm quite jealous that is a sweet setup, pitstop, garage, workstation or whatever you call it..????

New shoes, wore the other 1s ALL the way out. (Same tires b4 and after)

Edit: I did this on purpose, look how well the tires wore! This was on a 92 accord with suspension mods, lowered about 2 1/2 inches on Eibach Sportline springs, Koni sport struts, Energy Suspension bushings throughout, ST sway bars front and rear, and I have done nothing to correct the -2.5 camber in the front and -1.5 camber in the rear (stock neutral settings are about -2 in the front and -1 in the rear) the double wishbone setup in the Accord means almost no camber change from fully extended to bottomed out (about 1 degree from bottom to top) I ran them this long to prove to some other guys that you don't really have to correct such small changes in camber to maintain a good wear patten and longevity of your tires. Tires are Dunlop Dirreza DZ102 205/55/15 on a stock Accord wheel.

I got the Typhon truggified and started cutting pizzas like never before. Almost ruined my mx28s in the first 6s run so I ran up to Walmart and grabbed some 65# braided line as instructed by @bicketybam. I also need to do the diffs soon. Probably 300k dif fluid in the center or somewhere near it by mixing some high and lower viscosity fluids.

That looks like a lot of fun! No worries about snapping the front shock tower/shocks off on a bad roof landing?

All I worked on was installing a new desklamp on my workbench so I could finally see what I was doing over my vice. I did find some nice 150-200w equivalent LED bulb for it though on amazon. I have a 150w equivalent twist florescent in my overhead flood light directly over my work area. I did have a 120W normal bulb in there for a while... the older I got, the thinner my hair got... the stupid thing was cooking my scalp! Had to find something with more light but less heat!

Yes, the thing almost does standing backflips now but instead lands on it's top and damages shock tower / shock caps. I'm looking at some dense foam I have laying around that will zip-tie to protect the shock towers but I'll probably just ease back on the punch or learn to not jam the trigger on this rig. One benefit to scraping the towers and caps is that I'll have an excuse to upgrade.
My next question soon on the forum in the Typhon subsection is a request to finding a new clear body that will fit.
I realize that doing this no longer gives me a buggy in my collection but the thing is a blast now and I guess I can always revert back.
Yes though, the tower and shocks are in clear danger
