After I replaced the brushless motor of my Senton Mega I did 2 runs without problems on 2S but yesterday I tried the 3S again and it broke (again) after 2 minutes. I decided that I stop putting money in the Mega project. But I like the SCT look.
So I mounted the front and rear bumper on my 3S Typhon, put the Mega bodyposts on it (had to raise them to the max), then the body was still touching the tires when the springs were compressed so I cut a piece of the body at the rear wheels.
And here is my 3S Senton Mega, it drives awesome (I have the 20T pinion in) and this one doesn't break on 3S (at least as long as I don't send it to the moon )

Took the Granite and Typhon out today and broke a shock on the Granite almost instantly πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ So I decided to run the Typhon instead and blew two outer u-joints, losing both of the shafts. Decided not to fix it a third time with non-new parts. Fixed the Granite shock and finished out a pack! πŸ‘πŸ»

Good news, both slippers held up great. πŸ€ͺ

Just on the Granite. Waiting to score some Typhon 6S shocks. I will then move the Chinese shocks from the Typhon to the Granite and put the Typhon 6S shocks on the Typhon 4S..... phew that’s a lot to take in.

Sorry for the late reply, I just ran across it now.

Half a sheet (4x4) of expanded stainless steel, about 30' of 3/4" .065 wall tubing and the rest was little pieces of whatever I had closest at the time.
The feet are made from 3" aluminum channel and the lower legs are made of 1" stainless tubing.

That's my kind of roughin it! We just got into RV campers last year, and love every minute of it.
Nothing better than pulling a 43’ fifth wheel around! And beating the crap out of my rc’s. Lol. And some rye.
Had to cut a arrma hinge pin to keep xmaxx going. Lost it! Great takeoff. Poor landing.

Reglued my Minokawas, they were looking pretty bad after 15 4Ah packs. One of them probably wouldn't have survived the next run.

Also swapped the spoiler for something I had around (dunno why and how, never had a 1/8 vehicle before), just for poops and giggles. Added stickers to make it go faster πŸ’ͺ

Pulled out one of my original arrma vehicles today. Fresh bearings and clean-up after a hard muddy bash and I'm ready for its next run. This thing is crazy quick on 3s through a hobbywing 60 amp and velineon motor. Bought it as a roller for $40 off eBay. Now it's my favorite 2wd.
