What did you work on today?

I've done a ton of them. You gotta go super slow and if it gets tight, go back in a little. Gotta work those plugs. They carbon up between that smooth bit and the head. Locks them in real good sometimes. Also warm up the engine before doing them, it helps

That’s exactly how I do it, but I run some sea foam through it first. Softens the carbon a bit.

Putting my Typhon 6s back together with these parts. I had to grab some parts from my boneyard so that could connect my Kaiju motor to my Max 6. That's why I don't throw away almost anything rc related when I take it off another rig.

Worked on my giant scale piper got the wings on and it’s big, got the engine in but didn’t end up using the twin, it went in a different project.

I spent all day organizing a metric ton of spare parts into totes and organizing them into one place. Then I shuffled my rigs around, so they all fit somewhere. This looks better… until the new ones get here…

This isn’t even all of them. Every room but the bathroom has rigs in it. I’m going shelf shopping tomorrow.

I think it’s time to part with some of them. Now I just have to figure out which ones need to go.

No, I agree. It’s become an issue lol. I’m going to sell a few rigs. Most of the ones not in the pics will probably go, maybe the USA-1, the Raptor R, and a few more that I haven’t decided on yet.

I’ve spent more than that since June.

But you know what? These things make me happy. Just like yours surely make you happy. This hobby is all about fun, and I’ve been having a blast! lol.
I decided to do some more wrenching on the Gorgon. I think I have the body mount setup exactly the way I want it.

Are you using the back end of a jeep xj as a work bench?
Looks like fun and I agree- you never know what you might be able to use off old stuff. I definitely have a box of broken or worn stuff for those jic (just in case) times.
