Rebuilding all diffs on all 4 Arrmas (12 total). Getting ready for RC season!

The front diff is always a pain and removing the input gear from the stock block from Jenny's is always a PITA. Once done this should get me through the summer... except for breakage of course.

Non-arrma work, putting some new c-hubs, GPM GPMSLA019A, on my stampede 4x4 that have bearings for the king pins. Hope they hold up well as I hate the slop the originals have after a short time.

Only issue is that they use a proprietary shoulder bolt that's stainless...

I ordered some M3 spacers from rcjuice that I can stack up on a bolt, put in a drill and mill them down to work, then I can use standard m3 bolts instead. Also, they have a plastic insert for the bearing to ride in... not sure what that's all about.

I can't believe how much slop there was already though on my HR c-hubs. I installed them a year ago, but haven't been driving this truck that much the past year. For $30, I expected them to last a bit longer. Will see how the GPM's do.

Lc Racing does this too with their aluminum hubs, the bearing sits in a plastic insert, I think it's supposed to help keep the bearing from damaging the aluminum not sure though.

I don't know why they try to get away with this. With c-hubs in 1/8th buggies, they usually have a hardened steel insert/bushing that holds up for a long time. But just relying on a thin piece of plastic... just odd to me. I see a lot of guys taking slash's and making speed demons out of them... no clue how they do that with all the slop in them. They must change out c-hubs after every other pack!

Idk that is seriously the only logical explanation I can think of, I know Lc Racing sells just the plastic inserts by themselves so I just figured that's what they were for.
People make speed runners out of Arrmas anything is possible ?

Working on adding a radio booster to my Futaba 3PV. Need a way to securely hold the booster and antenna. Came up with a simple, easy to remove 3D print. This is done in PETG.

Waiting on more fans and the antenna wire. Signal booster has an SMA female connector and the radio PCB has an UF.L connector.

Stripping down kraton for a complete over haul.
Shock rebuild,
Diffs all new plus extra shims
New wing mount
Full stainless steel basher
bearings from jims
New titanium pivot balls through out the whole rig
Replacing worn screws for 3.0mm socket heads where I can.
This is gonna take a while.

Completely overhauled and cleaned the Notorious. Put in three already prepped difs and rebuilt the ones I removed. Replaced the servo saver too. Bearings were seized and things got a little sloppy. Jennys Rc replacement was already in the parts bin.
