I have an old dell laptop I have ubuntu on. I put an SSD in it and it boots up in about 14 seconds. With ubuntu, it's pretty quick in general. If only I could figure out how to connect to my network shared drives on a windows machine...

What motor are you running there?
If your Windows PC is W10, you may have to install CIFS support.

Tried installing samba and some other stuff I found, changing the config's and whatever, but no matter what I try, it fails to connect to my windows media pc shared drives. Isn't a huge issue, just would be nice, then I could play around a bit more with stuff.

Got my MIP replacement half shaft for my stampede and got that fixed back up during lunch. Now if the rain holds off, may be able to get a quick run in at the skate park on Wednesday, unless it's blocked off.

I haven't messed around with Linux in years so I cannot help you there.

Can you see the MPC from other Windows PCs?

I've been sitting on a hard stool for 3 days in my laundry room turned rc room, building this! When I close my eyes, I see tekno manuals??

Nice!

Might want to look into getting an alloy top plate for the steering posts and M2C bracing for it. Really nice rig though. Is that the MT410? If I hadn't sunk a bunch of money into the outcast, that's the route I'd have went.

I got my shocks all built up and installed on the tekno. These things are smooth as butter? I also bough

t a 4092, 1730kv hobbystar motor for my kraton, so I'll be pulling the blx sysem out and installing it in the mt410. I start painting my first rc body this weekend. After all the work I put into this kit, I rrally hope I don't botch the job ?

Yup, its the mt410. I definitely want to throw a munch of m2c parts on but I'm gana see what its got bone stock. Building this rig was an amazing experience. I'm not sure how other kits are to build but this one was wonderful!

Looks sick ..?? what color is that ..??

Looks sick ..?? what color is that ..??

Thx

The color is where it went wrong. I was going for florescent orange Tamiya PS-24 but when I pulled the masking off I did a bad job and black was all over the place. So I was pissed and instead of doing a white backing which was next for the orange pop, I began to spray the black over the orange in the inside. For the hood, I cut away the protective wrap on top and sprayed black paint PS-5 on the Lexan...hide errors or my masking lines that were not good. Then I sprayed a flat clear on the hood PS-55 for a flat look. I did NOT want a dark body wanted a bright one so made the best out of it....learning process :)

I mounted a new TV in the shop so now I can watch youtube and History Channel shows that they haven't reeeeeewritten.
I got a TLC 40" 1080 for $180 + $23 for a nice articulating wall mount. WIFI works perfect even though I expected some trouble with my old router.
Mounts works well and I can kinda swing it back and away if I need to.

Bad photo
