What IR Temp Gun to Buy

I've been looking for a temp gun but unsure how much I should spend. Do they pretty much all do the same thing? What IR temp gun are you using?

The cheapest you can find...in general, the more you pay the higher temp range your unit will be good for. You don't need a 2000 degree gun.

It works great, and it gives a super fast reading. I have checked everything from my motor temps to the neighbors walking in front of my place. There is a really hot chick near me, but she is butt ugly lol.

Well, considering your skin is on the outside of your body, fighting ambient temp, she was at a blistering 91°. I typically check in at 89°, but I am sitting inside in the AC.

Got it when it was on sale for $15.

For the past 20 years, I use a radio shack one. It's been dropped, kicked, stepped on 20 times... but it still works. I keep it on my charger rack to check stuff while charging and the other in my pit bag to carry on me when I'm out bashing since it clips to my pocket nicely.
