What is out there for upgrades for the senton 550 mega for rear differential and spur gear

So my son some how blow his rear differential up this weekend and snapped the pinion gear that connect to the drive shaft along with melting the slip plate shaft but looking for upgrades to prevent it from happening again and trying to figure out how the rear axles come out

First off, love the name ?

To take the rear drive shafts off, you have to have a fairly long hex driver because the rear axles are screwed down onto the output shaft from the diff. RazorRC has a video on it on YouTube, it would be your best bet to watch that as he does an amazing job explaining it all.

Thanks for the info bud my son is putting this machine to it's true paces we purchased in June for his birthday and so far we have replaced the motor and esc and now the complete rear differential
