Granite What is this motor mount hook for?

can anybody tell me. what this hook on the motor mount is for?

Is it for holding the balancer cable from the battery?

I have no idea but since I run 4s in my Granite I zip-tied the jumper cable to that.

Mine broke after a few bash sessions. Since then, I've been tucking the balance wires under the battery wires towards the outside edge of the truck. Doing so has never caused any wires getting caught by the center driveshaft.

Same, broke mine on the granite after a week or so.
Never even used it on the big rock

Thanks a lot. I am using the Spektrum Lipos and here the battery cables run completely different. No way I could fiddle these through this hook.

Furthermore, the ESC cables with the peakeater from the BLX100 would run awkwardly over the fan if I would route it like yours.
Maybe it’s a relic from v2.

That is a BLX100. It's been there since the initial release of the Mega 4x4.
I don't use it though I just use the velcro straps to secure the leads.
