I don’t know much about these things. Wondering what the little pack zip tied to the battery lead is, and what the little wire going to it is. It rubbed through and broke. Want to get it fixed and also know what I’m fixing lol. Thanks for any help!

I believe it's a capacitor pack (cap pack) for stabilizing the voltage when you draw a lot.

Thank you! Started finding some info about them. Is it something I can slice back together or do I need to solder it? I wouldn’t say I’m good at soldering

Preferably soldered but a super solid crimp connector would probably be fine.
