I'm curious to see the replies/suggestions; having a Raider I'm assuming our battery bays are the same size and I've been concerned with finding a LiPo that will fit.

I like SPC and SMC LiPo batteries, there are several brands out there. You could go get a super cheap Turnigy 2S LiPo.

A friend on YT has been reminding me that I NEED to go LiPo, I had to put that in my NY's resolution list, at the top of course!

Measure your battery compartment and start researching. I had no problems finding battery dimensions and I found a rather large 2s LiPo to fill up my compartment. I don't know enough to recommend a brand.I am not suggesting trial and error though. Do your homework and read reviews of the product and manufacturer. Bounce your ideas here. Lots of helpful people here to help.

Yes you can use LiPo batteries in a stock Vorteks. You will need to move the jumper on the ESC - see page 7 of the Vorteks manual.

U can run 2s not 3s

I run 2s lipo out of the box heaps farster
