Kinda sorta. max8 has more functions you can program. I run the max8/2600kv setups on 4s in my lmts. It's mental on a 16t pinon which is the largest mounting hole on the motor plate. I would say go for it, you'll gain torque for sure. I'd run 4s and a 16t pinion and see how it goes.

You can run an aftermarket lcg battery tray that might fit the 6s battery but 4 is def plenty. Only bad thing about the lmt is spending as much on the aluminum axle housings as the truck itselfThanks!

Oh snap i saw you got the king sling and not the lmt. those wheels def hook up more than the monster truck wheels. I have two trucks running the jconcepts fling kings and if you have your brake set to 50% it'll do a front flip when you get on them hard hahahahahaSick... I can't wait to upgrade it and blast!

They can chew up servos as well. I have treal servo savers on 2 and I’m trying this with an air dampener and a servo af saverSick... I can't wait to upgrade it and blast!

Right on, you can run the stock axle housings til they fail, but with it getting colder out that may end up being sooner than later. The wheelie bar on the back is kinda cheesy too. I got a 3d printed one from kenny downs on the fb page. Steer clear of the stainless front bumper. It's good at one thing and that's bending your chassis. I would have got the Son of a Digger but I got the King Sling at my LHS today Black Friday/Open Box (they ran it once to test it out) for $399! For $250 off I couldn't say no! I've wanted one for a while.
No doubt! i bought a roller to use for parts and ended up using all aftermarket stuff but the diffs on the red/gunmetal truck so i have a whole roller left in the box i'm debating on building or selling. They had the rollers on sale for $250 earlier this year before they discontinued them.
Well, I already have the Felony combo so I'll probably just roll with that...
Right on, just an option if it seems slow on 4s and you don't want to jump to 6s on it. If i build the roller i'm thinking i'll use that and the 4s kraton's esc which i think is only 120a. I used the 130a out of the used lmt i bought on a big rock. I won't do the treal bits though and just run it stock and do all the dumb stuff i can't bring myself to do to the treal trucks hahahaha.
They used to say the blx stuff was rebranded hobbywing with less programming options and i want to say some still say that about the spektrum stuff but i think they said the hobbywing program card won't work on it. I bought a spektrum one to tune the few i run. Being 130a it's going to be close to the max10. the max10 g2 is 140a now, max8 160a, and we'll see if they up the numbers on the next max6 version.

I always think i will, then i think about what i've got in them hahahahaha. I don't really have any crazy jumps or anything. Most of the time i just rip around in the gravel. May build a typhon out of stock parts to set up a little dirt track in the grass in front of my apt. It's all dead right now so it isn't like i'm tearing it up! hahahaha.
