What ON/OFF device do I need to turn RC lights on from the remote?

Fam,

Looking for a way on my DX5C to be able to turn RC lights off/on. From my understanding I need something that sends a signal so I can program that to a remote switch. Say for a single light connection in my Infraction coming for the AVC rx 6100... what can I buy to plug into the RX which will plug to that single light wire to be able to control it from my DX5C?

I saw a TY video that suggested these linked? Since I do not know they seem over the top and maybe I am wrong this is why I am seeing advice. Thx

You need one of these. Plugs into spare channel and operates from the corresponding channel on remote.
