It would be quite durable too! Such a flat surface, if it flipped it would be distributed all over! I’m excited to see the videos coming in. May try it

I have a long way to go (hopefully) before I'll need to replace my Granite BOOSTed's body, but when I do, I'm certainly not going fancy so I may do something similar! I even thought it'd be funny to make a bodyshell entirely out of cardboard. I'm sure it's been done before...

Search da beers- dyi bodies. I've made a couple, out of necessity. 1st out of beer boxes, destroyed those, then replaced w/ aluminum

I saw someone on here a while back take an rc boat hull, flip it upside down & use it for a body. Actually thought it looked pretty cool

It can absolutely work and is a very streamlined shape.
Hardest part is making it fit reasonably well.
