Probably the Hobbywing C4. https://www.amainhobbies.com/hobbywing-c4-motor-heatsink-fan-combo-hwa86080130/p279175Hi all, what is a good but budget friendly heatsink and fan for my motor? It is the latest model Kraton 6s v5
I'll look into the hobbywing one a little bit but from what I've come across so far they do suck lol. I am interested in the yeah racing one but why do the fans suck. Aren't the fans the most important part of a good heatsink and fan combo? Also it doesn't have to be a combo pair. Is it better to piece it together with a different heatsink and fan?Probably the Hobbywing C4. https://www.amainhobbies.com/hobbywing-c4-motor-heatsink-fan-combo-hwa86080130/p279175
The fan sort of sucks and breaks easily but the heatsink works pretty good. And you might have to bend it in a little so it fits tight.
This one is about the best one but the fans still suck. https://www.amainhobbies.com/yeah-r...s-black-40.8mm-diameter-yea-ya-0261bk/p491090
The ya racing one won't fit it slides around so I will have to find something to go round motor so heat sink is tight.I'll look into the hobbywing one a little bit but from what I've come across so far they do suck lol. True, it wont fit on the new spektrum motors that do not have the lines going across. I wrapped some aluminum foil around my motor to give the heat sink a snug fit.The ya racing one won't fit it slides around so I will have to find something to go round motor so heat sink is tight.
Yes but not in stock till the 28th my LHS told me because that's what I want to put on my typhon v5. I don't know why they didn't do the hole v5 line with itDoesn’t the stock Mojave fan fit?
There's a new thread about pretty much everything made every day, heck sometimes the threads are created on the same day!I swear there is a new thread about heat sinks every day ?
They just use cheap fans.I'll look into the hobbywing one a little bit but from what I've come across so far they do suck lol. I am interested in the yeah racing one but why do the fans suck. I was not aware of this good to know. The ya racing one won't fit it slides around so I will have to find something to go round motor so heat sink is tight.

Typical bipolar weather. It snowed last Monday and has been in the 40s and 50s every day since. I honestly can't remember if I have been to Aberdeen. How is rapid city!! My grandparents are from Aberdeen.
Aberdeen has a theme park called story book land if that jogs your memory.Typical bipolar weather. It snowed last Monday and has been in the 40s and 50s every day since. I honestly can't remember if I have been to Aberdeen.
I know there is one in Rapid City called Story Book Island.Aberdeen has a theme park called story book land if that jogs your memory.
I ended up going with powerhobby fans and they don't fit. When everything is tightened up the heatsink slides around. I ended up taking off the fans, bolting the 4 screws to connect the heatsink with nothing in the middle. I then squeezed it as evenly as possible to get the bottom more flat than it was originally rounded. Unbolted it, mounted it back on the motor and they now fit fine. You also have to put the heat sink at a slight angle or it will hit the center driveshaft. All bad lolI run the PowerHobbies fans, they include the adapter to plug both fans into the one port of your ESC, and they're a pretty good price if you ask me. Replacement fans themselves cost about $10 each, so getting this with two fans, the heat sink, and the electronics adapters is a steal IMO.

From my experience they cool my motors down 15-20F compared to no fans.
