Not dinner but made some garden fresh homemade salsa with some of our garden goodies. Our cilantro went to seed and dried up already so had to get some from the store but rest is out of the garden

Just gave it a taste test and came out great maybe add a little more cilantro and after it sets up overnight will be

Ya it was an odd season with the high temps and then all the smoke from the fires and the damn deer eating everything so didn't get any habeneros or it would have been a bit hotter for sure.

Sushi. We just picked up $120 worth of takeout from Dave's Sushi. My skinny 14 year old daughter hit it like a hyperphagic grizzly before I could get pics. Wifey & I chased it with a bottle of peach whiskey cider, and now I'm enjoying the sun getting low on the horizon with a few hundred birds chirping in our trees, and smelling @Edough13 's neighborhood roasting in the haze. We're up to almost 5 miles of visibility today! W00t!

Gotta get back to building the trash panda in a few.

Tri-tip again. I'm kinda repetitious.

It's just so easy! Just rub with s&p (maybe some garlic), then sear it in cast iron, then smoke in the pan for about 45 at 225f.

Pull it when it hits 120

Such a sweet rut to get stuck in ❤
