What's the difference between Castle Mamba Monster(E-Revo Gen 1) and the Castle Mamba Monster 2? I have both and is it worth swapping?

I didn't realize the revo ever came with a MMv1 in it. I thought the MXL-6S was the only one that came in it. The savage came with a rebadged MMv1 in it (F360C).
In that instance, the F360C did not perform as nicely as the MXL-6S (MMv2). I had to mess around with the throttle/brake curve a few times on my PC to make it driveable. In stock form, it was very "light switch" like. Also, it wasn't waterproof.
I was only running the F360C because the MXL-6S fried on my 3rd 6S run (after 3 years of 4S). I ended up replacing it with a max6... so far, it's far better than either of those esc's.
