Been trying to find some oil. Did found one the cst I want but it said cps what does that mean?
What's the difference of cps and cst?

Found this in another forum, not mine and have not double checked it, could be wrong

"CST is for kinematic viscosity and CPS is for dynamic viscosity.
The calculation to convert between them is
Kinematic * specific gravity = dynamic
The specific gravity of silicone oil is ~0.97 approximately which means the difference is very small.
Eg 100CST=97CPS so basically they're interchangeable for silicone oil.
