I looked at those but at 51mm wide they might not fit so im interested to see what happens. If you do make em fit they should be a decent choice battery.
No worries, as Mboss has a Nero (dual battery trays).

Not sure if you are still looking, but here's a link to the Power Hobby Lipos I'm using (5200mAh, 50C constant/100C burst). They measure 138x46x27.5mm & weigh only 350g each:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/PowerHobby...413578?hash=item3d5abe1c4a:g:Yc4AAOSwIJlaMcoG

These Power Hobby Lipos also look good. I may try these as my next batteries. These are the same as my 50C, but 75C constant/150C burst rating & weigh just 1.5 ounces more. Also, no problem to fit, as only 2.5mm taller than the 50C, measuring 136x44x30mm:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Powerhobby...603828?hash=item2a878a2434:g:QgkAAOSw2iNZZDN4

Power Hobby also have many different capacities 5200mAh, 6000mAh, 6500mAh, 7600mAh, 9000mAh. They also have 50C, 75C or 100C ratings, plus even the new HV (high voltage) Lipos. However, you will need to check any of these battery dimensions?

I've been happy so far, as my 50C Lipos have great power and punch, very light, small dimensions, and no problems to report yet. My only complaint, the wires are only 12gauge.

Thanks for this. Unfortunately me being in UK i cant buy from that seller but i'll see if i can find em over here and price em up. Cheers

I will let you guys know if the Turnigy (51mm width) fit the Kraton (I have v3 version with the outcast battery tray). If not, they will be perfect my Nero.

Here is what I currently run in the Kraton....have been great for past year!

Turnigy battery. I'm sure it is just a bit too wide for the Kraton, but let us know, as many Turnigy Lipos at Hobbyking seem to be around 51mm wide.

Good find as the Zippy Lipo is even on sale. This is the same as my 6S 60C 5000mAh Zippy Compact, but a 3S and 800mAh more capacity. It looks like it is 66g more weight for the 800mAh more capacity. I also see it is 1mm longer and 4mm taller than my 6S Zippy. I would not go any longer than this (158mm). Although the battery tray specs are 70mm height, it looks like it is actually less than that, so gather your height (64mm) must also be close to the max?

I know what you mean, as a lot of sellers will not ship to Canada either. When I bought my Power Hobby Lipos, there was only one ebay seller (ibcinyourc) that would ship to Canada, but unfortunately none I could find now...

Here is the height on my zippy compact

I agree, around 5000mAh seems to be a good battery size. Less expensive than a large capacity battery, plus lots of run-time & not too heavy. If want more run-time, just get another battery(s). This way, you get more run-time with a lot less weight. This can vary, as some high capacity (mAh) batteries can be heavier than others.

Although I have four (4) 2S gensacearespammers Lipos that I use for my AE Rival MT, I usually use my 2 smaller 5300mAh 65C Lipos more than my 2 larger 7000mAh 50C gensacearespammers batteries. All 4 gensacearespammers are still running strong...

My Zippy 6S is 5000mAh & my two (2) Power Hobby 3S Lipos are 5200mAh. Again, I believe this is a good battery size.
Cool, thanks for the tips. 5000 mAh is plenty, still haven't been able to do a "full" run. 30+ mins was the longest so far. :D

Happy to report the 51mm wide turnigy 3s 5000mah 60c lipos fit both the nero and Kraton!

The bottom battery of the kraton has some give/stretch...which allows for batteries a tad wider.

Happy to report the 51mm wide turnigy 3s 5000mah 60c lipos fit both the nero and Kraton!

The bottom battery of the kraton has some give/stretch...which allows for batteries a tad wider.
Amazing it fits, but great news. I double checked with a ruler and even my digital caliper, and confirmed the battery tray specs are 48mm wide, as Arrma shows on their website. I wonder if that Turnigy battery is under 51mm wide or you definitely had to stretch the tray to fit? Anyways, good for you, as this opens up a lot more choices, especially for the Hobbyking Turnigy Lipos.

Not much effort to get it to fit...didnt measure but just a tad wider than the zippy cocompact 45mm

Got 1 run with new turnigy lipos...truck ran great...more punch than zippys (although zipps got 50+ cycles)...impressed came nicely balanced/stored at 3.8/cell

This is good news indeed. Decent batteries and great prices and ive got a couple already

Now that we know a battery wider than 48mm will fit the V3 Arrma battery trays, thanks to Mboss, this Turnigy 6S 5400mAh 65C/130C Lipo looks like it would be an excellent choice, as it is only 49mm wide, while most Turnigy Lipos are at least 51mm wide, so it should fit even better. This battery measures 153x49x54mm and weighs 808g:

Although SMC is "OUT OF STOCK", I finally broke down & ordered a SMCs True Spec Premium 22.2v 6S 5400mAh 90C Lipo from Bego Racing (SMC Canadian distributor). It measures 140x48x62 & weighs 805g. Bego Racing has these in stock and prices are Canadian:

Yo! new be my 1st post nor my last, and I read this whole section was not easy trying to find a battery, its run time, etc. I searched for what worked "FOR ME" These are 7,4v 2S 50C 5200mah Hard case, what I prefer then a soft case, the yare for the Armma;s I ordered. I will update to a 11.1v 3S 50C 5200-5400mah hard case if I can find any? WHen I get the orders I will update the run time on the pair. I chose to get two batteries over one 4S pack as they are the same size when placed together and I can use in other rc models then to dedicate to the Arrma's.

What are your thoughts about the product?

I also have on order a paralell xt60 block and going to use the xt90 connections for that. to cut my wait time in half.

Thank you for the thread, post and all. thanks in advance.. Below are the bat and specs. Love how they say 100C burst....

Budget under $150.00 for 2x 3s lipos or 1x 6s

3S 11.1V 50C (100C burst) 5200 mah. or are you just wanting "A lipo battery" it help to tell us what run time you are looking for so the Mah be higher? and the speed you're after the C rating people can recommend, as well the amperage you charge at? Just my thoughts out loud?

Thanks for all the info.
This is the charger and lipos I have now.
but then I went on there website www.powerhobby.com and found some lipos that I like but don’t know if I can use them in my stock arrma typhon.
1st 3S lipo 2C charge rate, 6500mah 100c / 200C burst.
2nd 6S lipo 2C charge rate, 6500mah 100c / 200c burst.
Don’t want to burn up my electronics or motor.
Thanks for any and all info in advance.
