Wheel Balancer

My stock tires on my Kraton are shacking so much..
So I should start with wheel balancing.

What do you think of this Balancer?

And what material should I use for weight?

@Pepijj221 that looks like a pretty nice wheel balancer. As for weight you could either use something like lead tape or wheel putty like the Racers Edge W001 wheel putty.

I have that balancer and can tell you that the kraton tire is too big to fit between the axle and the stand. You have to flip the spindle backwards and hang the tire over the edge of a table or something, but it will work.

If these are used wheels, and the problem seems to be getting worse, you likely have debris inside your tire. Balancing at that point would be largely a waste of time. Remove any debris and dry the inserts before balancing. I like to weigh mine afterwords so I can easily tell if they are gaining weight (debris).

I actually just tried a stock Kraton tire on it. I put little aluminum spacers and used longer screws to give it more clearance and it fits fine. It may even fit without the spacers. For the price I say go for it, although Dustin is right about if there's stuff in there it will be next to impossible to balance.
