I wanted to get the arrma Talion but before I could get it from my local hobby shop it was gone. So I went online to get it and found out that it was discontinued 🙁 . So a good time later it is still discontinued and I want a new one so where is it?🤷🏼‍♂️

It was a favorite to many, I really don't get why it went south...

Price at the time probably. It was one of the most expensive then which in reality was silly because a similar vehicle that cost them nearly the same to produce cost hundreds less.

Now $600+ rc's are normal. Crazy.

I'm building a Talion EXB w/ a Talion body & Katar T 6s tires. Well it's Talion EXB chassis with Kraton shocks & towers sooo, technically not a true Talion. The T6 towers are smaller, & the shocks have heavy spring rates & 2000cst oil. I wanted to stay with what components I am familiar with & have many spares of.

hopefully they will bring it back. don't no why it was discontinued maybe it didn't sell well enough. I have two the v3 and the EXB great cars

Yeah I would like a bit faster kraton 6s. I was going to get the Max slash but I decided to go with arrma kraton and I am confused what is better the kraton 6s v6 or the exb?

I'm in the same boat as you. but the EXB is better value with all the upgrades its not a bad problem to have though is it :)

Although the arrma kraton 6s v6 has a lot of the exb parts and has new designs.
yes I no what you mean but I like the aluminium gearbox case's and chassis braces and 7075 shock towers. I am not keen on the clipless body so much on the v6 also I like the look of the EXB more. the EXB is only 100 pounds more in the uk than the v6 :)

If I recall it was $750 which is super expensive. There are also tons of truggies available in the market. Perhaps it didn't sell well? You can easily buy one used. I just bought one off of here in great condition a few months ago. They're easy to find.

It didn’t really have a market, was pretty middle of the road at everything bashing-wise within Arrma’s 6S lineup.

If I ever wanted a talion I'd simply just buy a talion cover drop it on my kraton 6s ,change the wheels and 💥 there's my talion.👍

Talion was always my favourite Arrma, the closest modern car to me out there is the Tekno ET48 2.2. They are both a more agile truck than the others, the terrain they cover is slightly different. If you really want a fast and exceptional handling vehicle that you build yourself, the ET48 2.2 is a really exciting vehicle. They are really reliable and you won't have to upgrade much if you keep the weight down. With a few minor changes from the stock setup means you will have a truck that can bash hard all for the same money as a mildly upgraded Traxxas or Arrma. The thing that makes Arrma's exciting is the upgrading and all the extra stuff you buy for them, keeps it interesting. If you're just looking to build a car and drive it a race kit truck might be worth considering. The only real upgrades you'll need is a full chassis brace, and aluminium front and rear gearbox braces. The race set-up is designed to flex, flex a lot to give good traction, this can be an issue if you start to jump more than 25 feet or if hitting things at high speed.

My Tekno is an ET48 2.0 the 2.2 has a bunch of great factory upgrades for reliability and better handling.
