I bought a rocket rc 32mm fan to put on the motor of my outcast. I can't seem to find a plug (fan plug in first picture) in the car that fits what the fan has. Do I need some sort of adapter and should I plug it in to this spare cable on the ESC ( that's what I thought the spare cable on the esc was for) or in to one of the receiver plugs?

you can use your receiver
Nvm I found out what I was doing wrong. I feel dumb now. I was trying to plug it in to the middle of the plug slot on the receiver. So it didn't work. I didn't know you had to plug it to one side

Yup the negative lead is always on the outside of the receiver, middle is the positive lead and inside is the signal.
