Hello all. I think I narrowed it down by reading through these threads. Out of the 3 chargers below, which one would be easiest and safest to use for a beginner? Just looking to charge 2S or 3s batteries for an Arma Granite. I'd like the charger to have overcharge protection, balance charging and storage mode. Don't think I'll need anything else.

Thanks!

Either the gens or the ISDT should be great, I would lean to the Gens only because it is 2 channels VS the 1 channel of the ISDT.

All 3 of the linked chargers seem to be 2 channels, from what I can see?

To be clear, firsttimer1, I have not used any of these, I'm just going by the listed specs.

The gensacearespammers seems to be the most powerful, 300W x 2 channels (600W total), IF you are using a suitable external DC power supply. But using the internal AC power supply (keeping things simple), it's 100W x 2 channels (200W total).

The Hitec is 100W total on AC power, 200W total on an external DC power supply. The iSDT is also 200W total, is only uses AC power (no ability to use an external DC power supply).

The gensacearespammers is also the most powerful for discharging, 15W x 2 channels. The Hitec is 10W x 2 channels, the iSDT is 5W x 2 channels.

Based on power, which can help speed up your charge/discharge cycles, I would lean towards the gensacearespammers. Hopefully people who have used these can chime in! All of them will do balance charging, and storage discharging. No charger should ever over-charge your batteries, unless something has gone terribly wrong, so I would consider that to be a given.
