Arrma RC's
  1. Granite
  2. Voltage
Hello we were out driving my daughters new arrma granite voltage this afternoon and all of a sudden it started whining but not moving. Anyone know the issue? Thanks

Is that one a slipper clutch? Maybe tighten up. Or spur and pinion worked loose of the factory mesh setup? Pinion lost the set screw?

Sounds like the Pinion gear came loose. If so that should be an easy fix. If the Spur is stripped that will need to be replaced.

Thank you. Ended up taking it all apart and finding the diff outdrive was stripped

Yet another stripped diff outdrive.......

ARRMA: PLEASE ADDRESS THIS PROBLEM. YOU ARE GOING TO KILL FIRST TIME RCers ENTHUSIASM FOR THE HOBBY!!!

Seriously, it saddens me to keep reading about this problem, especially when it's a youngster's first experience with RC.

There can be ran metal diff cups BUT

when you strip the 3 gears inside next, do you wanna do thru the labor of splitting the chassis in half to get ‘inside there’ to fix?

... what would you rather?
