Was jumping and flipping in the back yard. Sent it about 25' up, thought I landed ok, just a little body slap. Drove back to line up and go again and heard some grinding. Took a good look at everything out there, thought it might have just been a stick stuck somewhere. Sent it again and could really hear it now.

Grabbed the back wheels, started to rotate them thinking I blew the diff, they would lock up every half rotation. Got the rear diff out and saw some metal in the bulkhead. Pulled the input gear and 3 broken teeth.

Was running 50k/200k/30k diff oil. Not sure if that was a contributing factor or if it was just from jumping it. Think I might lower center to 100k and rear to 20k just to be safe.

After taking the rear diff apart and cleaning it up, the outer gear looks a bit chewed up. Yay more parts to buy...

Buy it in pairs/multiples.. you'll need them. 😉👊

By chance did you land on power? Usually breaks stuff 👀
I was doing a backflip and had power to follow through with it. It was a pretty slow flip and had to hold the power to land flat, don't think I had time to let off power before landing.

Think I'll lay off flipping it and just have fun with height and distance while drifting around the yard. Just have to pick up an Outcast at some point for tricks 😂

Check the diff carrier and bulkhead if it’s still plastic for cracks. The output pin and outdrive should fail before a properly meshed arrma gear set, even straight cut 43/13s
