I just purchased a fireteam 6s and the shop took it out and reprogrammed something on it. I thought they said it had something to do with overheating and burn something up. Any idea what the details are? Thanks

Why would that need to be changed from the factory?

Spektrum 6s esc's are known to come with to much timing advance pre programmed...

The why is exactly as you mentioned..

What timing should we be using on the firma 150 then?

In a basher? 15* or lower.. I'd say 15 degrees is the max advance you want to run.. I would also say the lower the better to rangle in temps.. the 2-3 mph you will see in high timing isn't worth a Chernobyl disaster...

If your speed running and only making one pass, it can be beneficial to up the timing for more total rpm...
