Why is Diff Oil so hard to find??

Silicone oil and toilet paper ? = panic buying ? I’m guessing.

Lol, I guess as toilet paper is essential to humans, silicone oil is on the same level with RCs ?

No, just high demand and limited supply. My LHS is up 70% year over year in business while parts supplies are not able to keep up to the new demand.

Toilet paper is a different animal - some panic buying but the real issue is that toilet paper production is split between commercial and retail channels. When people suddenly switched to working from home it meant that a lot of the supply that went to the commercial channel was unused while the retail channel for home use had far more demand than usual and they can't switch those things that quickly.
