Arrma RC's
  1. Senton 6s
Hello all. I'm new to the rc world and I purchased a senton 3s 4x4 blx. I'm having some issues with stability. I've read about adding some wider tires and wondering if anyone has some suggestions on a relatively inexpensive way to fix this. Granite tires? Or what other ones may work? Thanks in advance.

When shopping for tires, remember our Arrma 4x4s use 14mm hex. Most tires are 12mm or 17mm. Duratrax has a line of 14mm tires that should work, though.

When you look at the tires, the MT will be a bit bigger, the ST a bit smaller. I think the ST would probably fit a SCT better with less body rubbing.

You can also get some 12mm or 17mm hexes, and then run other tires. For 12mm, lots of people are using this set from Traxxas - they fit the 6mm axles on our trucks -

For going to 17mm, I use these cheap adaptors from Ebay. They have a bit of play, but they work.

After upgrading to bigger tires, anyone experiencing overheat issues. I started running granite tires and now the truck will run for a short while then shutoff , not sure idle that’s the issue or if I have something else going on. Thanks dudes

Granite tires on senton? If you are still geared on the stock 20t it’s probably to high now that you have bigger tires/rotation. If still on 20t drop down a few teeth.

This ^^^ you can't jump up in tire size without re-gearing. The RTR Granite uses a 15T pinion, FYI.
