I also am running a BLX 200 ESC and BLX 2050 KV motor with a 12 tooth pinion in my Outcast of a Kraton, 90 + degrees here in Washington State, engine and ESC temps right at 120 degrees. I agree that that blx200 is a upgrade from the blx185, but the hobbywing max8 would be a better choice for the fact that you have more programming options.

I agree with you but price is a big factor got the BLX200 at a good price. The BLX200 works good has been installed Senton is running.

Price is exactly why I'm running the BLX200 instead of the Hobbywing Max8. I am not a racer, I am a basher, which means I am constantly breaking parts and upgrading on my many trucks. I just wish this was a cheap Hobby. Thinking about adding a Senton to my collection here in the near future. Don't just bash, blast.
