Kraton Will cut antenna on spectrum receiver cause it to stop working completely?

Just installed sr315 with dx5c transmitter. Thing was running great and then I lost all control. Truck still running but no throttle or steering. Found the antenna cut about halfway down

I pinched one once and I had a range of about 30 feet

^ Yeah usually a damaged antenna will just cut your range way down.

technically the antenna is the exposed part of the wire.
you can try to salvage it by knowing exactly how much is supposed to be exposed and then use an exacto knife to cut away the plastic sheath

Well.. I flipped my limitless on its lid and damaged the antenna wire. Thinking no big deal, I sent it again and Luckly a car dodged it and it ended up in a ditch. I learned my lesson after that and make sure my failsafe is working and not to mess around with a easy antenna fix.

Yes they snap into place. No soldering required for the 6110.
