Will my old battery charger cut it or should I buy a new one?

that is my old one that really only got used for about a month before I stopped racing a long time ago, lol...
will that charge modern batteries or should I replace it? I am not going crazy with batteries, mamba xlx2-1100 and haven't really decided which batteries to go with yet, but I am going to be around $55 each budget I think...
thanks what do you recommend...

thanks, I am considering the d2 for $120, looks like a lot of guys like them, considering I will probably never go over 4s

I've got 2 of these and they work great.

Like @Sandracer_NL posted looks what you have will work...unless there is a specific agenda you have. I have a charger that can do up to 12A but I charge everything at 4A...good enough for Traxxas works for me...I do not own any Traxxas equip. My brother does and 4A has been good for him on their EZ charger so I do the same my smallest battery is 5000mah up to 8000mah all changing at a 4A (I am below the 1C charge rate). Nice and steady :)

Put that money into some RC upgrades.

do you have a link, I only see them for over 250 on the net
I know SMC and GetFPV sell the D6+ for around $120. But it looks like they’re out of stock. I got mine from banggood but they’re also out of stock. Weird.

It does look like they’re available at aliexpress but that shipping could take 6 weeks.

Your charger is rated at 50W, at best this is for small lipos, or you have to deal with long charge times.
Extremely slow for 6S and larger batteries. Take 'Power' and divide by rated lipo voltage, that is the max current the charger can supply, regardless if you dial in a higher value.

When picking a charger and using 6S 5-6000mAh, pick a charger with 150W minimum per port (AC), and minimum of 1A balance current.
DC chargers are more capable, but require an external supply, minimum is typically 24V at the desired Watt rating.

Hota links:
These are the 100W/channel(AC) versions. The 150W D6+are out of stock, for good reason.

I could not imagine trying to charge a 5000mAh 6s lipo on a 50w charger. It was bad enough trying to charge 2 2s lipos with one.
