just measure your battery box then you will no what lipo will fit that's what I do. or look in your manual it will tell you the size in there

I run the 6.0AH 6S G+ packs in my 6S tray, but it needs to be vertical because of the width.

According to the manual the battery tray max is 158mm x 48mm x 70mm meaning no, the 51 wide battery will not work and I wouldnt "hack" batteries to fit, the drivetrain runs right alongside the battery tray.

I personally wouldnt run 2 soft packs in a kraton 6s for bashing but according to the dimension restrictions, your second option will work stacked.

I use a gensacearespammers Bashing 6S in my Kraton 6S (6800 mAh). Fits perfect even though its 1mm "too long" since the length dimensions is the least important considering there's nothing holding in one side other than velcro trap. It's expensive, but there are certainly other options.

The trick, as mentioned, is just to understand whta tray size you working with and if the battery will fit, nothing more.
