X-Maxx wheels on my Nero?

So I just got a Traxxas X-Maxx 8s and had tracked down some Losi MTXL 1/5 scale tires. It makes the X-Maxx huge. I want to run the X-Maxx wheel and tires on my Nero. I guess I need to convert the Nero to 24mm hubs or reduce the wheels down to 17mm. Anyone running X-Maxx wheels on there Nero?

After looking closer at the Nero the X-Maxx wheels won't clear. I guess I'll stick to the proline 3.8 Badlands.
