XO-1 Esc question.

Hey guys go a XO 1 roller for future project. Really not looking for the so called 100 mph speed, but I wanted to know is a MMX with a cap pack the same as the MM2 that comes with the XO 1? I know Jenny has the MM2 , but I don't want to deal with getting the TQi with the bluetooth just to unlock it. Just want to throw a Dumbro with a gyro at it.

I know Castle sells it but the Traxxas one had a 3 small capacitors on it. The regular MM2 doesn't.

Ah OK - missed that, sorry. Looks like the factory MM2 and MMX both have the same warning against high speed applications.

I suppose you could try adding a cap pack to the MMX, but the MMX is $180 and an MMX8S is $215 …. A kill mode cap pack is at least $35 or you can probably put one together for $20 in parts and pieces so for the cost of an MMX and cap pack you might as well get an MMX8S.

No,he is talking about the differences between the xo-1 esc mm2...it's like the regular mm2 except it's got 3 additional caps built in a case in front of reg mm2..3 big caps in front an the reg 4 little caps on HS..I always wondered the difference between the two also.ill ask castle tech next chat I have with them.lol
I've had mm2 an mmx6s liked mm2 better an mm2 was more powerful..ran them both uncensored
