I made my self a Xt 90 loop, because I am switching from 2x2S to 1x4S.
Now my question is, is it right to simply solder a cable from plus to minus? So that minus and plus go through one cable?

Yup that's the only way too do it for what your trying to achieve.

If you're keen on soldering, you can try xt150 connectors, they are good because you don't need the loop and you can still connect 2 batteries if you want or just the one.

XT150 is exactly what I use, really good connectors and the easiest for joining multiple batteries.
