Almost done with the typhon 8s my question is how do yall feel about the position i set the esc like it look ok but second guessing myself bad input needed or picks thx

I think today was its last speedrun & crash at 138mphI mounted my mmx8s in the traditional location..think had to turn it a bit for clearance and trim sideguard for fitment.no mounting screw holes on bottom of mmx8s makes mounting hard.i 2 sided taped mine in.imo high speed crashs its better to not solid mount.i hit pole at 130s an mmx8s flew 75 ft away an survived. Motor was only thing in car.my mmx8s has been in some violent crashs..about to retire it from speed runs. Im constantly 130s pulling 400amps everytime with it.time for upgraded esc before it burns

I like that idea...in the pic you see how close esc is to the driveshaft its too closeI like it, looks very customized. Also like the slanted motor fans. Here's a pix of how a guy on Youtube mounted his ESC.View attachment 149010
