Kraton Absima CR3P

Has anybody any thoughts on an Absima CR3P Transmitter and Reciever combo?
It's pretty cheap, no gyro and 3 channels, but waterproof, 10 model memory and full LCD Display, an option on 1 or 2 receivers as a package for under 60quid aswell.

Any thoughts?

Decent radio for the price but really old technology it came out like 10 years ago.

Is it worth buying? The new DX3 is out now with an AVC reciever....but not sure whether it will be any better than the standard one...and that's an old design right?

In that price range the best alternative would be the Radiolink RC4GS. Like I said it's not a bad radio and for what you pay you get some nice features. Most of the issues I see with it are range and some glitching.

That being said pretty much anything will be an upgrade over the STX2. There are $20 radios on the market that are a night and day improvement. Just find something that fits within your budget and suits your needs.

If you can up your budget I would look at the Futaba 3PV.
